Secondary School Scholarships
The Ariel Rosado Foundation provides scholarships to secondary schools for needy and deserving Belizean youths. Secondary school scholarships cover the cost of all fees and books for a maximum of four years at any recognized secondary school in Belize.
The basic requirements are that applicants:

Once the basic requirements are met the available scholarships are awarded to the most needy and deserving applicants. Application forms are available on the Foundation’s website (www.arielrosadofoundation.bz) or from the Foundation’s office during normal working hours.
In 2012 the Foundation established the concept of a Dedicated Scholarship and has since managed a total of Sixteen Dedicated Scholarships. The Foundation has been able to solicit funding for dedicated scholarships from both corporate and individual citizens. Individual and corporate citizens are encouraged to fund a dedicated scholarship to provide a scholarship for our less fortunate fellow Belizeans.
Memorial Scholarships are established in the memory of dearly departed loved ones. The Foundation was established as a Memorial to the life of Ariel Rosado and we believe that a scholarship in memory of a dearly departed is an excellent way to keep their memory alive. We continue to solicit commitments for Memorial Scholarships and we encourage those who have lost loved ones to keep the memory of their loved one alive through a Memorial scholarship.

Counseling and Mentoring
Our research has shown that one of the major contributing factors to students dropping out of high school is the lack of individual supervision, counseling and guidance. One of the unique features of the Ariel Rosado Foundation scholarships is the counseling and mentoring of our scholars. Dr. Dorla Rosado is a trained counselor and she heads an excellent counseling and mentoring program for our scholars. Counseling and Mentoring Sessions are held once per semester and all recipients are required to attend and provide a progress report.
