Administration and Organization
The Ariel Rosado Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, four Trustees and Members who are appointed by the Board Of Directors. The board is responsible for all affairs of the foundation including but not limited to planning fund raising activities, developing criteria for the disbursement of these funds and making the final decision as to the recipients of awards given by the foundation.
Legal Status:
The Ariel Rosado Memorial Education Foundation was registered with the Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry in Belmopan, Belize under the Business Names Act, Chapter 247 of the Laws of Belize (Certificate No. 17481) on the 31st day of January 2012.
The Ariel Rosado Memorial Education Foundation was dissolved on 27th. February 2015.
The Ariel Rosado Scholarship Fund was registered with the Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry in Belmopan, Belize under the Business Names Act, Chapter 247 of the Laws of Belize (Certificate No. 19842) on the 26th day of June 2013.
The Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Ariel Rosado Scholarship Fund were registered with the Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry in Belmopan, Belize under the Companies Act, Chapter 250 of the Laws of Belize, Revised Edition 2000, on 2nd day of August 2013 as a Limited Liability Company (Limited by Guarantee and not having a Share Capital).
The Ariel Rosado Scholarship Fund DBA The Ariel Rosado Foundation continues the work that was being done by the defunct Ariel Rosado Memorial Education Foundation.
